Landscape
For landscaping, OMON porous pipes are installed 6–8 inches below the surface. They can be laid easily and conveniently using a small trencher machine or by manually digging trenches, depending on site conditions. The pipes are typically installed at intervals of 1–2 feet to promote uniform moisture distribution and overlapping coverage. This helps minimize dry patches, dry strips, and burnt grass, supporting a healthier, greener lawn.
The first landscape installation was completed at a farmhouse in Delhi. Since then, numerous developers and corporate organizations have adopted this innovative irrigation solution for landscape development.
According to conventional landscaping guidelines, lawns may require approximately 10 mm of water per day, depending on conditions. However, some OMON system users have reported maintaining lush green lawns with water application levels as low as 0.75–2.5 mm per day per square foot, depending on site conditions and irrigation requirements.
Note :
1 mm of water over 1 square metre equals 1 litre of water.
